Our children are growing up in a digital age where they spend a lot of time on their phones and laptops. However, too much screen time could endanger any child. It can be more difficult to verify someone's identity online. Therefore, it's our responsibility to protect our children. Despite parents' attempts to learn all they can about their children's online footprint, the truth is that it's difficult for them to keep up with the ever-changing technological landscape of the 21st century. That's where I come in.
This newsletter is not meant to give you rules and regulations to follow but rather to act as a guide by providing constant information on how to protect kids online. Think of this newsletter as your personal advice column – it's like having a personal security coach.
A bit about myself:
I am a technically sophisticated Cybersecurity Thought Leader with DeriJones LLC and a father of three lovely kids. I have a master's degree in Cybersecurity from Kennesaw State University in Georgia, United States, and an Advanced Cybersecurity Certification from York University in Toronto, Canada. I also studied a bit of French in a small town in France called Rouen. If you haven't noticed yet, I love traveling and exploring different cultures.
The world in the 21st century is a dangerous and controversial place. Nevertheless, our kids depend on us to protect them. Join the conversation.
